What’s On

PERFORMANCES

As you step, tumble, leap or groove into 2025, join us to reflect on the moments that shaped the past year, or to share your hopes or desires for the year ahead. What are you putting down, or picking up? What’s staying the same, and what’s shifting? What’s with all this new year reflection anyway?

Wherever it finds you, join us for a unique evening of Playback Theatre, and bring your stories that honour the old, embrace the new, or simply trace the journey.

Every sound has a story; every silence holds a power. Whether it’s the rhythm of the city, the melody of a river, or the hush of a quiet moment, these auditory experiences shape our lives in profound ways. Join us for an evening of Playback Theatre and bring your tales of soundscapes that moved you, silences that spoke louder than words, or the echoes of voices long gone.

Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust - Innovation Hub

It was great to be back at HPFT to continue exploring that hefty, familiar theme of burn out. Stories of grief and celebration, of being both staff and service user, of endings we plan and those we can't plan, of taking time to heal. Stories that centred love, community and belonging.

What a process we're all in!

“Completely moved by it. Thank you for your performance and I look forward to the next one!” - Audience Member

Making Mischief -

Sunday 7th July 2024

Rosemary Branch Theatre

We had a very cheeky afternoon of mischievous stories, but not without their gravitas. From childhood whims and impulses, to adult moments of courageous rebellion and liberation, we had tales of dangerous laughter, running away, seeking justice, pressing the button, not getting away with it, and getting away with it!
